Enchanted Forest Fairy Tale

We met Nadine and her mother in September of 2018 and felt an instant connection due to a few common friends. Nadine had a very clear vision about her event and wanted it to feel like a movie. She wanted the cocktail hour to reflect "Woodlands" with art installations for photo along with furniture vignettes giving organic vibes. Dinner was going to be set on the lawn and the theme was "Enchanted Forest" and the last part of the evening was planned in Mar Vista Ballroom with "Tropical Forest" vibe.

There were several walk thru’s and design meetings and after working on multiple diagrams, final version was selected. Color palette of green, cream and hints of pink were chosen and the mock up was hugely successful. Production began a full day prior to the event and the entire team worked in a cohesive manner in spite of challenges with the space. A raised aisle and circular dance floor created a dramatic effect.

Rotunda lawn looked like an enchanted forest with tons of chandeliers hanging around the perimeter and above the dance floor. A seven foot cake sat atop a riser inside the rotunda with crystal chandeliers hanging above. Couple’s stage was set in front of the rotunda with the towering cake as the backdrop.

Tons of candles and flowers created an enchanted and ethereal vibe. The icing on the cake were two LED screens projecting images of enchanted forest, butterflies, waterfalls etc and the effect was magical.

Once the guests were seated, our groom made his entrance accompanied by a saxophone player and his groomsmen. Our Bride dressed in a stunning gown and looking beyond beautiful made her entrance down the aisle on her father’s arm. She was lead by violinists and flower girls. After a lot of dancing, couple left for photos and then made Grand Entrance as a couple. Guests enjoyed cirque acts and were entertained by a soprano, singers, Arab band, piano player and a singer during a sumptuous four course dinner. Once the cake was cut, guests were escorted upstairs for the after party by Samba Dancers.

The Mar Vista Ballroom was set up with decadent and sumptuous dessert display along with Persian Tea Station. Guests danced the night away and the most successfully planned and executed wedding came to an end. We have become very fond of the entire family and there is a sense of strong bond that will always prevail.

Wishing our lovely couple life time of happiness!
